Cowgirls on Canvas

Fresh from the studio; In the Garden is my newest original painting and my largest work this year. Painted on canvas with light pistachio and mossy greens contrasted with warm pinks and grassy yellows. This 48x60 work on canvas captures two cowgirl in the thick of a rich textured garden palettes.

Ariana Barnstable is the creator of the Lazy Cowgirl series, a body of work that explores contemporary western narratives through minimal composition, expressive cowgirl linework, and striking visual storytelling forever inspired by out west.
